The Tory sandals are very Elsa Peretti, in a great way. Nice score.

I’ve developed a real appreciation for Tory shoes from all the times I under-pack to visit my parents and then have to raid my mom’s closet. A lot of them are so comfortable and have really great lines. Currently keeping an eye on some out of stock loafers on eBay.

I have a pair of Claires that are soldered to my feet...I wear my husband's basketball shorts with them!

Ooo please report on the comfort! I got these for a euro trip but then tried them on around the house and found the gold part dug in a lot but I'm curious if they get better with wear cause I'd love to get them again!

I glued a bit of padding to the bottom of them! It's a nice cushion from foam. Scissor, super glue...voila

recently found my universal summer sandal (sailor) and it's kinda silly how much happier I now am. Truly necessary for any approximation of summer bliss

The photo of your shoe guys’ hands made me think of those two occassions (in Bali and Chiang Mai, Thailand) when a local guy saved me and my shoes right then and there, at their makeshift cobbler shops stationed right on the pavement. I call them street magicians ✨

Here to recommend the classic Tory Millers if you like a logo: one version she has is a gold metal logo. I usually buy a new black patent pair every other year, and in the off year whatever color they put on sale. They do have a bit of a padded footbed for comfort.

I am just in love with buying <$100 vintage prada heels via eBay, poshmark, TRR, etc and fixing them up. I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis now and I'm in orthopedics (womp womp), but this time has led me to looking at some new beauties that I don't have to be so precious with!

That's the thing...I realize I can't really wear a lot of my vintage shoes out 24/7...which kills me because I am a 24/7 type of person who will wear the same shoe day to night...walk - subway--yadiyada, whatever! ...I live a full life in my shoes!

I have a podiatrist appointment in the books to confirm my suspicions of plantar fasciitis. How thick is your orthotic, if you don’t mind me asking? Right now I am sneaker only.

I have the Clio shoes from Orthofeet and they are great! For home I wear the vionic rejuvenate recovery sandal and those are very thick, like 2 inches. I also have custom inserts for my sneakers that have two diff levels of thickness because my left foot in more affected than my right, but I’m not sure of the exact amount. Good luck and hopefully your pf disappears quickly!!!

I really love the look of these Tory sandals and am tempted to get them but I am worried walking more than two blocks in them would hurt. Please report back!!
