Label Dickmatization and panic buying on ebay lol totally guilty here. Hannah could be me with those Miu Miu glitter pumps from 2011 ("only £60 and in great condition what a bargain, I can totally practice walking in high heels even if my limit is 3 inches" only to turn them into bookshelf decorations because my feet won't comply with my delusions).

There's a lot of value in gaining self-awareness though, that's my consolation for some expensive mistakes.

"There's a lot of value in gaining self-awareness though, that's my consolation for some expensive mistakes." We live, we learn. Technically there are no mistakes...and maybe Miu Miu bookends are chic?

What a fun piece to read! We all could do with a few Label Dickmatization and Price Wasn’t That Bad Brain prescriptions 😂

I recently started using the "savings buckets" feature in my Ally bank account, which allow me to portion a bit from each paycheck across several savings goals (such as vacations, clothing, student loans, etc). If the money doesn't exist in my "clothing bucket", then I don't make the purchase. This also helps reduce the amount of "but it's so cheap" purchases because I question whether I want to spend my entire savings bucket on those items or whether I'd rather save up for for something else!
