I have those leopard print Manolos!! They are so comfortable and elegant. Def run half a size small in case anyone wonders.

I’m Very pro wedge because I broke my kneecap three years ago and remain generally afraid of heels. There’s something reassuring about the stability of a wedge. I have some from Rouje that I ordered a size too big but they’re still pretty.

I've never worn wedges in my life, but found myself buying a pair of secondhand black patent, pointed heel Chanel wedges a couple of weeks ago!! I thought they would be comfortable to wear with longer trousers, but I'm warming up to the silhouette altogether!

They are so elegant...down with the cork, in with the sleek....also I think there is a chronic styling issue with wedges! They perhaps are the most difficult piece to style imo. Interested to see how you do it, with trousers or beyond

I did a shoot this past week and we styled them with skirts and sheer black tights. Super easy! Instead of the pump, the platform, sandals and other shoes you’re seeing on the runway with tights, we just subbed in the patent wedge.

I lived in wedges in the early 2000s. They are just so comfortable! I had a pair by Jane Mayle that I had repaired so many times the shoe repair person was like - we can't do it anymore and I got rid of them. I'm so sad and I tried to find them recently, but these newer wedges super sleek.

“the sinister elfish curl”…what a way with words you have! Having never gotten over falling off of bus stairs onto the sidewalk not once but twice due to a pair of vintage platform wedges and a pair of platform boots, I have given up on having to walk with extreme caution. Which is why all of you have to wear the fun shoes so I can admire you from across the street!

oh wedges are def back! i think it started with "indie sleaze" twenty somethings getting isabel marant sneakers but i think were going to move into heroin chic/boho chic leather bootie wedges (or at least thats the move im hoping to make!)
