I Need It #4: My '00s Jennifer Aniston Blazing Orange Summer Cargos

Peak celebrity off-duty when celebrity off-duty was good, great cargo links to shop, and my favorite 23-year-old's take on the pant!!!

A screenshot of just some of the Jen cargo moments in history!

Like a flare gun, old paparazzi images of a young Jennifer Aniston in Gatorade orange cargos rear their blazing heads every summer. The actress is in Stars—They’re Just Like Us! scenarios, clad in the pair of blinding pants, bumming around with peak-hunk Brad or smoking a cigarette. She’s scrunched the slouchy, puffy cargos up to the mid-calf or has fully unfurled them to her ankles. Aniston wears them with a white, black, and army drab green tank.

The images are the pinnacle of the celebrity off-duty look: Aniston lazes around with a hulking leather bum bag strapped to her, in mid-conversation on her cellie (Fight Club Brad in camo cargos nearby), or flips off the cameras while at lunch. Remember, Aniston played the high-strung Rachel Green on Friends, a corporate go-getter who couldn’t walk out of the apartment without an unshakeable blowout. The slouchy pants, wriggled down to reveal a slice of midriff, are magically chillifying. No more uptight Green! Instead, you kind of want to smoke a joint with Jen when she’s swishing around in those highlighter-hued things.

The Jen cargo pants…with the Tory Burch Sublime conversation pit wedges!!! Yes, I use this old ass Prada Sport fanny pack as a diaper bag…

Recently, I bought a similar pair of cargos from the same brand
